Word War! Kick-off & Check-in

And the Word War is a Go!

- To participate, please reply with a comment using the template below. Since we're starting with this War in-progress (as it's Sunday already) - Please feel free to also count this as your first check-in. Share your goals, and your current progress!

- Check-in at any time. Can only participate 1 day? That's fine! You don't have to participate during the entire word war, just jump in whenever you can and do any amount of writing in order to qualify. There will be daily check-ins. :)

- The Whine Bar is open! It's a great place to vent, commiserate and share in each others pains and joys!

- Remember to check back in with your final, ending word count within approximately 24 hours after the war ends!

I should follow your lead and outline. I need to keep things together and when I get on a roll, I end up with plot creep! :)

All I've managed so far is staring at my notes, watching a video on time travel paradoxes for motivation, and pondering... lots of pondering. I believe I've got a way to tie it all together, but... I have to write so much exposition at this point and I haven't quite worked out how to do all of that without a massive info-dump that will slow down the pace.

I still haven't done a proper outline, but I do have a list of things to include in the ending.
