 It's been a busy, non-writing weekend for me. I hope yours was better than mine.

For the first time, I'm starting to get worried. Not that it won't be done in time, because I can still bash out an ending in a day or two. But I'm seriously worried that it's going to be crap. The ending now feels very trite and forced and I'm falling down into that spiral of "Oh, god, I suck, why did I even think I could write this? and no one wants to read this anyway. I'm never writing again!" (I swear I do this EVERY SINGLE TIME that I write anything longer than a few thousand words.)

I know that feeling.
I'm going to be trite and say - write it anyway. I doubt that your work is crap, and writing (like most things) gets better with practice.

Things are going. I'm finally at the end of the fic, but I still need to write one or two scenes and reread everything I've wrote to see if I missed anything. And then proofreading, which won't be fun.

I'm afraid at this point there's an almost 0% chance of me being done -- I'm buried in paying work deadlines at the moment and have very little actual personal writing time.

I didn't realize that yesterday was check-in, but I did send an email message over the weekend.

1) One of the artists is finished the cover. It looks really good - and this is for the fic I'm struggling with. Is our posting dates to be chosen between July 11 - August 30? Let me know. I'm going all-out to finish up this one (and may require one extra week to edit/revise).

2) For my other two fics, I'm planning to post them chapter by chapter. Still waiting for a response from my other artist, though.

3) I'm at work right now, so I gotta go! Just wanted to tap into the Whine Bar! Needed it. - TerraBlaze514 (from Tumblr)
