2024 Round - Regular WIPBB Check In #3 Is Live / Reverse WIPBB Thumbnails Submissions Are A Go

Check In #3 for the Regular WIPBB is open! This is not a mandatory form (ie if you miss it we won't kick you out), but we'd appreciate it if you fill it out anyway if you plan on posting fic.

The form for the Thumbnail Submissions is live! It's basically the same first few parts as the Snippet submission form (asking for a title if you have it, character/pairings, fandom...if it's original just put Original Work...warnings if needed and a brief description of the work to entice someone to claim it). The actual submission page is a little different. Please upload your thumbnail to PostImages.org or another image saving server (just no Photoshop, please...they're doing their users dirty right now) and link it in Thumbnail #1. If you want, you can include up to two more thumbnails as well, but you only have to upload one.

Sorry I forgot to send a reminder earlier, but I already have an author for my art for RWIPBB, so I will not submit a thumbnail for the check-in (as I was instructed in the email I got when asking about it) The main piece of art is like 99% done, just not sure if I still want to keep tweaking it. or make another one :D

You absolutely can :D In fact I have already started, since I have some insight from my author as to who else will be in the fic :) Just wondering how much time I have for things :/

Then there's also a story on the regular WIPBB side that I feel tempted to claim... :D

I figured I'd grab you here so I don't have to send an official email. I know you have an author already, but we wanted to ask the artists if they'd mind multiple fics for their rt. We only got two thumbnail submissions but we have so many writers who want to participate that we figured we'd ask all the artists if they'd submit thumbnails and get more than one fic for this round only. You don't have to! But I'm going to open the Thumbnail form up again if you're interested.

No I don't mind, but the fandom is Astro, so not sure if there will be any other takers than my author... too bad I don't really have anything else to offer at the moment, usually I have all sorts of unfinished art :/

I've sent the form. Not sure what size the thumbnail was supposed to be, I can resize if needed. The link is to where we (my husband and I) post stuff, we have paid server space there, it should work, but let me know if it doesn't.

And if it helps any, I totally don't mind if someone wants to write in another fandom or a crossover or not with the pairing I had in mind, the art is for inspiration after all :)

Hi! I just re-read the schedule on Tumblr and I see that the Reverse WIPBB claims were supposed to begin on the 29th. Are you holding off until the regular artist claims are over? I just don't want to miss it. Thanks! *g*

We actually only got two entries, so we're going to reach out to all the participants and ask them if they wouldn't mind submitting thumbnails to get multiple fics (just for this round). So the reverse band fic sign-ups are going up August 7th, the same week as the last week of regular big bang art claims. So you haven't missed it! But I will tell you the two thumbnails we got are for Good Omens and Stargate Atlantis.
