If you’d like to promo the comm, here’s how to do it! Just copy the text in the textarea to put it on your journal, reblog the post on tumblr, retweet on twitter, or post a banner anywhere else you’d like. If you’d like to make more promo banners for us to use, just let us know!

Welcome to the second annual WIP Big Bang! We're doing sign-ups a little differently this year, but hopefully this will streamline things and prevent the problem with comments being marked as spam that we had last year :)

If you're interested in signing up as an author or artist and have read all our FAQs, please sign up by filling out the details in this google form NEW SIGN UP FORM COMING SOON. The only required sections are username, platform, and email, but please fill out as much of the form as you can. It will really help us to keep track of everything. You can contact a mod later if you change your mind on the details of your story, or if you put a few options on the sign up you can narrow it down later. After you sign up, you should receive a confirmation email to the email you put on the form. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, please email a mod wipbigbang@gmail.com.

As per popular request, I've put together a list of fandoms and characters/ships from the 2016 sign ups for your perusal. Keep in mind that this list is only approximate (honestly this was way more difficult than I thought to put in list form, so I tried to simplify...) and may change over the course of the bang. ETA: This is up to date as of 4/3 at 2:10 pm.

Hey everyone!

It's time for our first check point! This isn't mandatory, but highly encouraged. We're just seeing how everybody's doing, if there are any concerns we need to be worried about, etc. Comments on this post are screened, so nobody else can see your comment, so feel free to vent as much as you need to. But please let us know how you're doing with that WIP. Any closer to done? Even if it's only a couple of words to assure us you're alive, please check in! :)
