Eight years later, Val Rammsteiner crawls out of the Underground that raised him, a mad dog in his spine and blood on his hands. He has no plans to get involved in the Heroics scene--he knows that no stray dog could ever save anyone.

How I Finished My Shit: DEADLINES. Having a deadline I had to make was very very motivating. Also I truncated the fic! It originally had two more arcs, but I wanted to finish on time, and the fic had a pretty good ending point, which leaves it open to a sequel if I get my plot hashed out.
