Bragging Rights: I'm pretty happy about how the images turned out. I'm especially proud of the pic with Shen Wei sleeping, the hair alone took soooo long to edit :D

You can find the rest of the art on AO3, and the story is being posted here on AO3

NOTE: At the time of me posting this the story is not yet complete, but please check it out and leave some love for Trobadora! Also, the artwork contains mild spoilers for the story, but nothing major.

Summary: Dixing is one of the last States standing against Emperor Zhao Xinci’s attempt to conquer and unite all the lands. The Crown Prince, Zhao Yunlan, has been fighting at the front lines of the war against Dixing for years when his mother gifts him with a concubine. Shen Wei is beautiful and magnetic and Zhao Yunlan falls in love with him instantly. But Shen Wei isn’t just a concubine; he’s a Dixing spy who’s being embedded in Zhao Yunlan’s household to gather intel and potentially assassinate the prince. He doesn’t expect to fall in love.

Pairings: Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan
How I Lost My Shit: A prompt bunny ate my brain and I started writing pieces of this fic while insisting to my friend that I didn't want to write this fic. The idea just wouldn't leave me alone. But then it languished in my draft folder while my other WIP made significant progress because I had no idea how to connect any of the pieces that I had already written, which I actually really loved.
How I Finished My Shit: Tbh, it was all because I knew I had this posting deadline. And also because a lovely artist signed up to make art for it and I knew I couldn't pull out at that point. (The other WIP, fwiw, is now the one languishing in my draft folder. TT)
