Story Title: Joke’s On You

Summary: Geralt submitted to being forcibly shaved with what he was willing to admit was ill-grace. He tried to let his mind wander so he didn’t have to think about the total stranger with the sharp blade at his throat, all so he didn’t offend the delicate sensibilities of Emhyr var Emreis, the White Flame Dancing on the Graves of His Foes, Emperor of Nilfgaard & the North, and his fucking soulmate. Not that they’d ever completed the bond. They had never even spoken about it.
Emhyr summons Geralt to Nilfgaard. It doesn’t go like he expects.

When I Started: April 2021
How I Lost My Shit: When I started this I had no idea where it was going, and have added to it sporadically since then. I loved the story and writing about these two grumpy old men, but I kept getting distracted.
How I Finished My Shit: When I found out about this event I got really excited. I would both have incentive to finish and get art for my story! That first part happened, and the second worked out better than my wildest dreams. The art Koschei_B did of their soulmarks is stunning and perfect for the story.
