Story Title: The Lucian Alliance Heist

Summary: The Lucian Alliance are working on something big, and SG-1 go on a mission to find out what. (Set between S10E09 Company of Thieves and S10E15 Bounty.)

When I Started: It must have been some time last year, because that's when I finally watched the last two seasons of Stargate and fell in love with Cam. I had an snippet of an idea and wrote the first scene of a story from Cam's point of view, and was really excited about writing it.
How I Lost My Shit: Somehow, after the first scene, I just stopped. That scene was really cool, but it presented me with a story that needed a whole lot of plot, and I'm really not that good with plot, so I ground to a halt and never got back to working on it.
How I Finished My Shit: I'm pretty sure this story never would have been finished if it wasn't for WIP Big Bang, and it certainly wouldn't have been as long and involved, as 7,500 words is a lot for me! But having a minimum word count and a deadline was extremely motivating, so I just knuckled down and got on with it - and I'm really happy with the result. Plus, Loracine's art is amazing! So, many thanks to all for the support and the structure to get this done!

How I Lost My Shit: Uh, well, it probably had something to do with getting a new job and moving half way across the country and learning that new job and packing and unpacking and the six months of terrible writers block I went through and then inertia and yeah. I was basically a hot mess on this one.

How I Finished My Shit: Saw the posting for this challenge and went "this fic or the post-AoU fic?" And then it was about a nano-second before I made that decision. Clearly, I love that other fic. Yes. Look, sometimes it just takes a kick in the ass to make a girl finish her NC-17, gen-fic in a small fandom. Is all I'm saying.
