Summary When Molly realizes she needs a date for a high-profile charity event she’s decided she’s tired of attracting only wankers who are looking to further their own careers. She tells her PA Sherlock that she has certain criteria she wants met for any potential date, as well as a photograph and references from three women before she’ll even consider them. She’s quite surprised, then, when she only has one file to consider a week later, and even more surprised to see who it is.

When I Started June 6th, 2016
How I Lost My Shit I had the first chapter done, and I knew where I wanted it to go, but I just didn't have the motivation to figure out all the middle.
How I Finished My Shit When I asked my Tumblr followers which fics they'd like to see me finish this round (since they know I participate every year) this was one that a few people asked for, and so I decided to change up my usual writing style and just write it out of order and play connect the dots later. That ended p being a huge help as I wrote the ending and a few other scenes and then the middle started coming to me, and the next thing I knew, it was done!

Many thanks also go to my artist, lalunaunita, who made amazing artwork for the fic that you can see here on LJ and here on AO3! I love the pieces and I think they perfectly capture the fic.
