Summary: Ten years ago, Molly Hooper got lost in the forest near her brother's cottage trying to find her niece. She found the girl as well as an injured man who was more than he seemed. Now, Molly's niece is missing again and so Molly ventures into the forest once more to find her, with decidedly different results this time.

When I Started: April 8th, 2018
How I Lost My Shit: I just got overwhelmed with a lot of other stories I started around the same time and didn’t really have a clear idea of what I wanted to do with this story.
How I Finished My Shit: I looked at it and decided if I could make this story all about how Sherlock and Molly met, and then reconnected and their shotgun wedding to save Molly’s niece from being married to a bastard fae prince, then I could tell more stories about certain events in a series and it would be easier for me to write. So I got the set-up and wedding done, and then I’ll work on the arrival of Moriarty and the eventual crowning of Sherlock as king of the fae in other stories.

Bragging Rights: So this one was a bit of a challenge, but in a really fun way. cornerofmadness had songs at the beginning of most chapters, and I wanted to incorporate those as well as other suggestions that were made, and as a lot of the already picked music is in some of my favorite genres, I had some music to add as well. I ended up with 38 songs between all that, and since the two main characters in the fic had never met, I figured the best thing to do was split it into two mixes, and focus one mix cover on each character while giving them similar front covers. I'm really really proud of this set, I am.
