So on January 1st, a new AO3 collection will open up for WIPBB, for the Fanworks Appreciation Day flash round. From January 1st to February 22nd, you may add any WIP that you finish that is under 7,500 words (aka the minimum word count for WIPBB). This round is basically for the shorter stories since it doesn't involve getting art.

Then, from February 15th to February 22nd, which is International Fanworks Appreciation Day and one week after, you can post a bragging rights form to the WIPBB community/communities of your choice. This is totally optional, but it lets your work be seen in more places. You may tackle as many fics as you want for the flash round; there's no upper limit. There is also no minimum word count to include a fic; you can have one word written and that's enough to include it in the collection when it's finished.

There are no pairings with artists this round; however, if you were an artist last round and you finished your art after posting ended/weren't able to finish for whatever reason, you may post your finished art in lieu of fics (or in addition to fics). This is only open to unfinished art/late posted art from the 2021 round, and not unfinished art in general.
