Story Title:Across the Forgotten Plains

Summary: Jazz had never fit in with his hometown of Staniz, so when an opportunity came to get out, he jumped on it, planning to be a travelling musician. But when an attack on his transport lands him in the care of a Plainswalker tribe, and specifically his easy-on-the-optics rescuer, his plans change. The mecha who attacked his transport are still out there, though, and it seems as if the threat they present is increasing.

When I Started: I started in 2018, for a round of Trope Bingo, so it was a while back!
How I Lost My Shit:I knew the fic was going to be long and I wouldn't get it done in time to get a bingo, so I put it on the back burner for a bit. Then left it there, and left it there…
How I Finished My Shit: I decided that this year I would do my best to work down my WiP list and this was one of the first entries. So I signed up and just plugged away at it and while it did explode a bit beyond what I expected plot-wise, after two years, it's finally done!
