MindJack, the mysterious hybrid who won’t give in. The circumstance behind his birth means that his life and the world he’s in won’t last long. It’s easy to hide in the dark when that’s what’ll surround everything soon.

Each with their own stories and each with their own demons. Together they make United Heroes, protecting the city of Musutafa, Japan. But before they got there, they had to learn how to work together. They had to try and work past issues of brothers and fathers and families of choice. They had to earn new experiences while fighting for their lives. They learn new experiences saving their city every day. Living with new people, crushes, becoming their own family.

Summary: Traveling to the Island of Whirlpools with two of his cousins and a whole lot of other youngsters from Konoha was not something Madara could have seen himself do, but here he was. On a journey to search for the mysterious lost city of Uzushio. With Senju Tobirama as their guide.

And Tobirama was a bit of a mystery himself. A war hero who had suddenly packed his bags and left Konoha behind, never returning even once in the six years that had passed since the war ended. Why? And why did he like everyone in the group except Madara? Well, if Madara was honest, that last bit was probably no mystery at all.

This fic is partially inspired by adventure type movies, where a group travels into the jungle somewhere in search of a lost artifact or riches or similar. Here it is the mystery of what truly happened to Uzushio, and why there are discrepancies in what people remember about it.
I also gave Madara and Tobirama a past that they will need to work through, with trauma from a war that only ended six years ago. The other characters, being younger, did not experience the war as directly as those two did, though Itachi is an exception.
There is also a real-world parallel with a law in Land of Fire/Konoha that prohibits homosexual relations, which has an effect on the plot.
The powers of shinobi in Naruto has been toned down for the most part, but it doesn’t mean that it is an entirely mundane world. Seals are commonly used for things, and minor abilities, but I upped the cost of jutsu to make them something that people only use in dire situations.
So, all in all, this is sort of a 1920-ies adventure story set in an alternate version of the Naruto world with a slash romance happening in a fairly typical MadaTobi way.

Background:
Luthen has a hematologic condition called systemic mastocytosis (subtype SSM with transformation to SM-AHN. I'm a nerd and I have something similar). This story is the exploration of its onset, effects, and progression spanning a few chapters set at five-year intervals apart prior to S1/S2 and its many episode blocks, which get their own. The fic explores how being sick affects his life and his relationships and how it fans the flames of his determination to build and grow the rebellion.
Includes plenty of technical details and medical accuracies, anaphylaxis and space epipens, a sweet and angsty father-daughter relationship (Kleya is the best), and a lot of made up med names because SW doesn't give us enough canon ones. I'm still finishing up the overarching plot, but it spans from when Luthen finds her to the end of S2. He dies at the end, but to be fair, that's canon-compliant anyway. I think all of this makes the way he goes out more interesting! (Plus I tweaked it a little.)

Acquiring those from stores, particulars and museums is an easy task, until his newest target is not as common or as portable. Soundwave knows when Enough is enough, but Megatron... not quite. He reserves the privilege to not to abide by his own rules, and when his own deeds condemn the still loyal Soundwave to share his fall in disgrace, Megatron is willing to do anything to please him.

In the interim, being fugitives requires suitable survival methods, which lead to the predictable outcomes.

In other words: post-canon. Megatron and Soundwave are abscords wanted by the Autobot government. They are forced to join a smuggler in order to thrive. Meanwhile, Megatron's new goal consists of doing anything in his hand to compensate Soundwave for his loyalty and his forced life of indignity, so he gets him in a wave of thefts of musical instruments to gift him —an activity that armonizes with their new occupation, and which causes them the predictable trouble while they try and fall to adjust to more peaceful times.

SVSSS Canon-divergent AU in which SQQ chooses to die instead of pushing LBH into the Abyss. Surely, he reasons, he's had enough extra time, and no one here will really miss this old teacher.
In his assessment of the feelings of everyone around him, SQQ is (shockingly!) completely and utterly incorrect.

In which LBH hides the demon mark, saves LQG from a qi deviation after trying to clear SQQ's corpse's meridians, and notices that SQH berates himself with some of the same odd words that SQQ used after his qi deviation (airplane, internet, etc)

LQG grudgingly agrees to a plan to preserve SQQ's body until they can finish consulting SQH's "holy texts" and when they return to Qing Jing Peak, LBH keeps his Shizun's corpse intact in the side room of the bamboo house, despite the efforts of spies to inform YQY about it.

It all works out! The mushroom/plant body matures! SQQ wakes up! ... SHEN JIU wakes up.

YQY is delighted. Literally every other peak lord is ... less so. LQG takes LBH (and SQQ's corpse!) to Bai Zhan Peak when og!SQQ ejects him from Qing Jing Peak. LBH pulls a sword too strong for him, and is sent to recover (spar a lot and go on demonic monster night hunts) with MBJ, leveling up his demonic qi to strengthen his spiritual qi, so the sword doesn't eat him.

In the end, a trip to the Holy Mausoleum is necessary to bring back SQQ, who is SHOCKED that anyone cared enough to try to bring him back not once, but TWICE.

A six chapter fic with alternating POVs.
