This is Round Three of the Fic Claims for the 2026 round of WIP Big Bang. You may claim three art projects this round. Please put your top three choices in order of preference in case your first choice is taken. if you want to claim more than one art project, please fill out the form a separate time for each fic with a unique check-in ID for your claims submission for each form. If you are already participating in WIPBB as an author or WIPRB as an artist/author please use a different check-in ID from those.

If you are signing up to do art for WIPBB or fic for WIPRB, you and your project partner will be picking a posting date that works best for both of you when posting date claims open August 23rd. The posting dates for claimed posting are between September 8th and November 30th, with the month of December open for emergency posting. You no longer have to have your project finished by September 7th!
Round three of the fic claims will go on until August 9th due to going up two days late. An art project is crossed out when it is claimed and can no longer be asked for.

Title: Stopping Caine at Any Cost
Pairing/Characters: Kinger & Clementine (OC)

Summary: Clementine does not want to leave the digital circus. And she’s aware she’s the only one who wishes to remain, who seriously despises the real world.
Regardless, she will help the rest get out however she can.
Clementine arrived at the circus barely a few years before Pomni showed up. Last she knew, there was a global pandemic happening and everyone had to stay home, quarantined. She couldn’t remember much of anything, of course, except that she got some headset from abroad and put it on.
Her name? Gone.
However, she did remember some things about herself, like where she’s from…
Being so utterly confused, first thing she did was speak in Spanish, which meant having to switch to English and explain she’s Argentinian. And that, precisely, gave her her new name. Kinger, despite his very apparent lack of sanity, commented she was like Clementine, a computer famous for being the first Argentinian scientific computer, and Caine didn’t even ask if she wanted to be called that; he just ran with it.
With time, she little by little opened up to the other circus members, and learnt about them too. She understood Ragatha a lot from what she had been through at home, she got along with Zooble, to whom she admitted preferring to be referred as “they” but still being alright with any pronouns, and despite his madness, Clementine usually managed to chat with Kinger, frequently getting random programming facts out of him. Then Gangle took a bit longer, but finding out they both liked drawing finally broke through the shyness. Similarly, Jax seemed to only approach if it was to mess up with her, yet she never tolerated his bulls**t and eventually earned something akin to respect from him.
As for Caine… she didn’t know what to make of him, but she sure was the only one who didn’t see him as some sort of prison warden. Until he went insane, that is…
And so, she decided to help everyone escape, even if it meant having to return to the real world she did not miss at all…
