Hi all! I'm Ragna, aka penaltywaltz, the new mod of WIP Big Bang. I've been a co-mod for the last few years, helping Reeby answer emails and doing art for the unclaimed fics at the end of the art claims. I've been a participant of WIP Big Bang before that, and I've been doing fandom events for many years, including Crossover Big Bang, Bleach Big Bang, and currently Molly Hooper Appreciation Week and Sherlolly Secret Santa for the Sherlock fandom on Tumblr. I've been writing fic since 1998 and making graphics since 2002, so I'm definitely a fandom old with a ton of experience under my belt. Hopefully, the transition between Reeby being the main mod and me taking over will run smoothly.

I am looking for help, though! As not everyone knows, we're on multiple platforms (Tumblr, Livejournal, Dreamwidth and Twitter) and I am not as active on all of these platforms as I used to be. I would love to have a mod dedicated solely to the Twitter account, updating when we have important dates and posting reminders. I would also love to bring back the Whine Bar and the Word Wars, if anyone would like to run those, or even something similar like a Flashfic challenge where you write a scene for your fic in an alloted amout of time. Anything to help motivate writers throughout the challenge (and artists too...you'd be more than welcome to do Flashart!). I have all the passwords now and will add mods to the various accounts if there's interest...that was why I waited so long to post.

I'm aiming to start sign-ups between March 15th and April 1st, so at least a little less than a month from now. Once I have co-mods in place, we'll come up with a more definite schedule but posting will still commence throughout the month of September (though I may make a few changes for posting rules in the future, regarding when you can start posting your completed works). So I hope to see you all around this round and many more!
