Is it Monday again, really? Oh boy.

I know some of us are anxious and/or excited about art claims right now, but they seem to be coming along. Best thing to do is post about them on your own social media and ask folks to reblog/retweet/repost so the word gets around. The first round of claiming ends Thursday, so get going!

How're your WIPs coming along? Mine are getting done, slowly but surely. There are word wars here on DW and sprints in the Discord server, if you need that kind of extra push to get writing. And here I am, cheering you on in a more casual way, and hoping for everyone to write write write!

Leave a comment and I will cheer you on, or commiserate, or just lend a listening ear, whatever you need. That's what I'm here for!

I'm really starting to worry that I'll need to withdraw my main project. I'm just not making progress on it at any useful rate. I was hoping it's get picked for art and I could get enthusiastic about again talking to the artist, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards.

Second project is basically done at least.

*hugs* I was so sad when I had to drop two of mine, but it happens. I assume you got SOME done on it, though? All progress is good progress, whether you get it completed or not -- you're closer than you were!

I'm working away at arc 2 of my fic, but this part of the arc is WAY LONGER than the others, and i'm getting worried that I'll finish it and have no time for the rest of the plot. Also there's a million characters in the bit i'm writing now, and balancing them is EXHAUSTING.

also i have to fit a Whole Katabasis in this thing apparently??? that wasn't in the outline......

Oh no, it sounds like it's gotten away from you! Don't you hate when that happens?? Good luck, good luck. I hope you can wrangle it!

One of mine is trying to do that right now, but I think I'm going to go back and rewrite some things to keep it on track.

it's definitely going in an...unexpected direction! but the katabasis will probably make the whole story wrap more neatly, and it adds a nice core to.....arc 3? arc 4?? idk man it's gotta go SOMEWHERE, so i'll jam it in somehow. but I definitely didn't think we were going back underground in this fic! i thought it was just gonna be the nightmare in the back of my mc's life for the whole fic!
