When I Started: This was my first fanfic EVER. I wrote it in 2012 in German; it's three parts, totally fleshed out and half of them written (in German). A Long Quiet River is the first part and can be read as a stand-alone.
How I Lost My Shit: I always wanted to re-write it in English, but never got the guts to do it. Took me long enough to start writing in English, but I never found a reason to translate this fic -_-
How I Finished My Shit: This challenge came along and gave me the date I needed to wrestle my procrastination. I didn't translate the fic from German into English per se, I transferred it. I thought it would be easy since i already had the plot - instead it was boring AF. I definitely will write the other parts from scratch, but it will take a while. Procrastination ahoy!

When I Started: This was originally an entry for the Full Moon Ficlet challenge, back in March.
How I Lost My Shit: Even when I posted it to the FMF, I knew there was more I wanted to do with the story. But other projects happened and I had outfits chosen, but the words didn't come. So it went into the pile of "to be continued". It's not as "lost shit" as others I have, but still.
How I Finished My Shit I came across this comm... I don't know how, really. And it was the perfect opportunity to actually finish a thing. The thing is somehow 10k now, and finished, which I'm delighted about. Bonus motivation was when my fic got claimed by xandromedovna, because art!!!
