Dates for most participants run from September 8th, 2021 to November 30th. Emergency dates run from November 15th to November 30th. Please list your date preferences in order of most wanted to least wanted. If you have been given permission by a mod to claim an emergency date, list the emergency date you want and a second and third emergency date, just in case.

So it is officially after midnight for me and is now November 16th, which means that officially, posting is closed and if I feel up to it I'll pull up all the fic and art and make a masterlist of works for the round to post (and pin) on Tumblr, and also crosspost to Dreamwidth.

Unofficially, however, posting can continue until December 31st, 2023. Just submit your bragging rights when you're done to either Tumblr or Dreamwidth and I'll edit both masterposts to add your art or fic. If you dropped your fic officially and think maybe you can finish it in a month and a half, you're welcome to try and finish it and post your bragging rights as well! A lot of people dropped before we extended it into November or before we allowed extended posting unofficially.

Once the post goes up, I'll look at all fic that doesn't have art and all the fics I grabbed which I haven't done yet and give some to pinch hitters who have offered to help. Mod Vtusion on Discord has offered to take a bunch, so fingers crossed we can get all the pinch hitter art up by December 31st (art pinch hitters are exempted from the deadline, however...they can post whenever they finish even after December 31st).

It's been a long hard road for many of you, and if you did finish before today, give yourself a pat on the back and raise a toast with the celebratory drink of your choice. If you haven't finished yet, just remember you have about a month and a half and we're all rooting for you.

If you want to post your bragging rights to the WIPBB communities, either on Tumblr, Dreamwidth or Livejournal, you have until 11:59 PST on Friday to get your submission in. I'll be posting the end of round round-up at some point on Saturday and then the 2021 round of WIPBB will be officially over.

So I am officially extending the one-week extension to October 15th. If you are going to be unable to finish your work in that timeframe please let the mods know via the mod email. This will be your final chance to submit your work to the WIPBB Tumblr, LJ or DW accounts!

So there have been a lot of people asking for extensions, even now, and we’ve got posting dates booked all the way up to the 30th, so I can’t give many more extensons to individual fics. So I’m hereby extending posting to the 7th, with October 1st to October 7th being free posting (ie, you’re not picking a date, you just post when you’re ready). This extension applies to fic and art.

Please remember that for you to fill out the form saying you’ve posted your work, you MUST post it to a WIPBB community with your bragging rights, wither here on Tumblr or on Dreamwidth or Livejournal. The point of the WIPBB is to finish your stories and share them with other members of the WIPBB community.
