Apologies for the lateness, it totally slipped my mind last night.

Anyway, second round, same as the first, only better. We got some stories claimed this past week, but we still have 50 that are up for grabs and need some wonderful authors. In this round, you can definitely take two stories at a time. Everybody spread the word! Grab your artist friends, stuff them in a potato sack, and drag them here kicking and screaming if you have to! Stories are listed by fandom in alphabetical order and each story is tagged with the story name and a number identifying that story (for my records).

Stories are first come, first serve. I'll update the post as stories are claimed. If need be, a third round will go up on Wednesday, June 6th. Official posting dates begin on July 11th. Once all stories are claimed and all artists/authors have been notified, I will put up a sign-up sheet so authors and artists can choose their posting dates.

The Word War will run Thurs Midnight - Sunday Midnight (whenever that is in your corner of the world)

- To participate, please reply with a comment using the template below. Since we're starting with this War in-progress (as it's Thursday already and I'm late to get this posted! D'oh) - Please feel free to also count this as your first check-in. Share your goals, and your current progress!

- Check-in at any time. Can only participate 1 day? That's fine! You don't have to participate during the entire word war, just jump in whenever you can and do any amount of writing in order to qualify. There will be daily check-ins. :)
