Story Title: Persistence of Memory
Fandom: Doctor Who (2005)

Summary: A strange virus has taken hold on Ehru, and the Doctor is on the hunt for a cure that takes her to the British Museum of Natural History, in search of the key to the last ingredient. There, she meets a mysterious young woman named Rose Tyler running from a museum guard, and offers her the field trip of a lifetime. They travel millions of years into the past to find the source of the ancient ginkgo the Doctor needs for her cure. While gathering leaves, they encounter a gentle giant, the largest mammal ever to walk the Earth. But other, less friendly and more dangerous creatures lurk nearby, and one of them attacks, looking for an easy meal. The Doctor saves Rose's life, but the young woman is guarding a secret that will change the Doctor's life.
Rating: M
Characters: Thirteenth Doctor, Rose Tyler, Jack Harkness, Original Characters
Pairings: Thirteenth Doctor/Rose Tyler
When I Started: Three loooong years ago
How I Lost My Shit: It somehow turned from a simple one-shot into a 27k multi-chapter.
How I Finished My Shit: Sheer bloody-mindedness (and an art carrot).

Fandom: Supernatural

Bragging Rights: I really like how the cover art worked out, with the geometric shapes highlighting each character. Sam finds himself in an alternative universe, thus the upside down cityscape in the background, convening the fact that Sam is not in his world.

Bragging Rights: I haven't signed up to do art for a fan event in ages, because I've been struggling with self-confidence a lot and I was terrified I would freeze up and not finish on time. But look! I made it!

I did a book cover, three "book-style" pen and ink illustrations, and three small drawings that can be used as paragraph/chapter dividers.

(I am posting a lot of my art and fanmixes early due to many many things going wrong and keeping me from posting on the assigned date)

Art Title: Fanmix For "Wakanda 2019 (i’ve seen the lights go out in new mexico)"
Fandom: MCU (with surprises)
Warnings: None for the art/music
Link: AO3 / Download
Bragging Rights: I had so much fun making this mix. Because there are characters in the fic that are not yet in the MCU, I decided not to use any characters and make it desert-focused instead, since most of it takes place in the desert. The first picture screamed road trip, and the second one made it really pop for a back cover.

Bragging Rights: I am surprisingly pleased with how the colours and textures turned out in this illustration, which was entirely hand-drawn in Photoshop. It took a couple tries to land on a composition that I liked and that incorporated the various visual elements from onthedriftinthetardis' fic I'd wanted to include.

Art Title: Art For "One look at you and my whole life falls in line"
Fandom: Shadowhunters (TV Series)
Warnings: None for the art
Link: AO3
Bragging Rights: This one was a toughie. It's for an AU episode, so the selection of photos was limited. Fortunately, I found a screencap site that had a lot more photos of the scene the submitted photos were from, and I got the idea for doing the wallpaper in sequential order. The banner came from a good promo pic and some clever use of textures. I didn't hear from the author past the information given, but I quite like these.

Fandom: Supernatural RPF
Warnings: None for the art

Bragging Rights:
I've done art for an RPF fic before last round, but it was a sports AU so this one was trickier. I had some good photos submitted but not all of them worked, and so I had to hunt for publicity or public pictures that didn't look too much like they were from Supernatural. And there's an age difference in the fic, so I was looking for older!Jensen and younger!Jared, which was fun. But I'm really pleased how these came out. I'm especially fond of that wallpaper and how it turned out with the various textures I piled on.
