It's been another week! Time for the W(h)ine Bar!
 

 
Also don't forget that Snippets are due May 15th. Snippets for WIP Big Bang are 3 sections of fic between 500-1500 words. They're sent to your artist when they sign up, but don't worry you'll still get your artist's email address so you can send your full fic if you want. There will be a post about how to submit your snippets next week.
 
Snippets deadline is also the last chance to change your fic. If for some reason the WIP you signed up for isn't working out for you shoot us an email at WIPBigBang@gmail.com with details for the WIP you would like to change to.

Progress! Progress is being made! I ended up having to go backwards and cut 1,200 words from a scene so that I could move forward with the story, and it really helped. I went from 2,500 words to 1,300 words and now am at 5,000 words, know exactly where I'm going with the story and am enthused about finishing a complete draft so that I can choose snippets for the 16th! I'm hoping to get to a point of having finished the first draft by the weekend so that I can rewrite my problematic WIP incorporating my beta's suggestions, and then I have to work out just how to choose snippets.

Also, stealing the game over at LJ my five word summaries for my stories are:

"Destroy yourself, save your friends"
"New city, date, and friends"
"Worst road trip; god's evil"
"Our coup's better than yours".

With my WIP, I've already got 3600 words posted at AO3--can I link to that in addition to snippets from the current parts? (And thanks for setting up on dreamwidth, btw!)

I added like 1000 words yesterday and got past a block, that was good.

... alas, I couldn't resist starting a completely unrelated WIP that is sapping much of my creative energy.
