Art Claims Today  
Hello everyone! Art claims should be going up tonight at 8:59pm CST, barring any other technical difficulties. Be sure to let any of your artist friends know if they might be interested in claiming! Remember that art claims are first come first served.

You mean CDT, right? That means 4 in the morning for Europeans, if I'm looking at the correct time zone. :(

Hopefully the next year claimings will happen at a more reasonable hour for us, there's no way I can stay awake so late in the night for the claimings. Nevermind. :(

Yes, same time zone as the due date for everything else! Unfortunately no matter what time things are, they're going to be at a bad time for someone. It's extremely unlikely that everything will get claimed day one, so you should still have plenty of time to look through if you're interested in claiming something.

If that's true, rotating the claiming hours a little would give a fair chance to be awake to every sub-group of people, instead of always keeping the same hour that is convenient only to one group, not so convenient but doable for a second, and always impossible for the third, would be fairer.

We also have to work within the mods' schedules, which is why the time is set at what it is. We've tried different times in the past and this is what works best at the moment.
