Story Title: In Vino

Summary: Near the end of the Clone Wars, a drunken encounter prompts Anakin and Obi-Wan to confront some long buried truths as they fight for their lives—and for each other.
(aka, the one where Obi-Wan's dick saves the galaxy)
Warnings: Contains several instances of sexual encounters involving one or both characters under the influence of various substances or injuries. All are considered consensual by the characters themselves.
Characters: Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi
Pairings: Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker
When I Started: Sometime 2006-2007ish. The original file has been lost to the mists of time.
How I Lost My Shit: I wrote the first chapter of this as a one shot not long after after Revenge of the Sith came out, but the ending was a little too depressing. I kept trying to think of a way to expand the story and give it a happier conclusion, but it never quite came together, and after a while I drifted into other fandoms and lost my motivation. But I never forgot about it!
How I Finished My Shit: A friend talked me into doing the WIP Big Bang, and this story was the obvious choice. Over the years, I'd come up with a pretty solid plot outline, but never felt the urgency to work on it. I'm always better with a deadline, so I figured this was my best shot to finally get it done. Having my betas and artist reading along as I wrote and encouraging me was super helpful. But mostly, I'm a stronger writer now than I was 15 years ago. So maybe I just wasn't meant to finish it until now. :)
