Story Title: harvest moon and autumn sun
Fandom: Star Wars Sequel Trilogy
Link: ao3
Summary: After years on her own, Rey's found a job at Resistance Tattoos. It's not a bad gig. She has friends who understand that magic isn't as fictional as most people believe and who put up with her after the full moon. Things are starting to make sense for Rey, but what doesn't fit in is the flower shop moving in across the street and the man along with it.
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Rey, Ben Solo, Finn, Rose Tico, Hux, Phasma, Bodhi, Jyn
Pairings: Rey/Ben Solo, background Finnrose
When I Started: October 2018
How I Lost My Shit: Originally meant as a gift for a discord exchange, the fic ended up a lot longer than I expected (as always), and it ended up not being half done by the time of reveals. I tried to keep working on it through 2019, but I was involved in other fandom projects, and it got completely lost by the wayside when I struggled with the ending.
How I Finished My Shit: In my head, I was meant to work on this throughout the summer. I had gotten 4/5 (now 4/6) chapters finished previously, and I had a much better idea of how to wrap it up. What actually happened is that I lost sleep for a week and finished it in a blind haze. I did go back and update previous chapters in editing, and I'm much happier with it than I was previously.
