After an argument with Angel over what they both want out of this relationship and a talk with Lorne, she realises she doesn't actually want to have sex at all (and is asexual, though the word isn't explicitly used in the fic), and is able to reconcile with Angel and tell him how she really feels.

Summary: The working title for this wip was 'parent trap au (remix)' because it is, mainly, a fic about Vi & Powder purposefully meddling to figure out what happened between Silco and Vander and how to get them back together. It's set in a modern au, and Silco and Vander are separated and have split custody of the girls. Years after the split, when they're older, Vi wants to switch places with Powder in order to interrogate Silco and try to understand the life her sister has been living, why she went with him instead of staying with her and Vander. Powder is entirely on board with using the opportunity to try and get Silco and Vander to meet again after years apart. Conveniently, the Distinguished Innovator's Competition is fast approaching, and it becomes the perfect bait in order to get the two in the same spot. But of course, is it ever just that simple?

When I saw the movie Bright, I thought that the universe there had so much potential. This is me playing in the sandbox of that universe. So far, the only characters I’ve used from the movie Bright is Kandomere and Montehugh, the rest are OCs. I have however tried to fit in a lot of lore and references. The theatre steadily fills with audience members, chatting genially until the lights over the seats dim. Two people dressed in white suits appear from opposite wings and sit at the pianos, a hush falling over the audience, and Amira shifts in anticipation beside him.

Matteo cannot watch, he can't rip his eyes away. His breath catches in his throat as his eyes take in the scene, the skin, the sweat that drips down the warm tawny neck, to the thin ropey scars on his chest and black tattoo up his ribs. They continue to dance, and now free of the dress the dancer seems lighter than before, a desperate relief that Matteo both recognises and shirks back from. The Latin singing continues, organ piping. It's sacrilegious. The dance is over all too soon, and not soon enough, and Matteo is still breathless in the red plush seat.

This fic is a crossover between The Hobbit and The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. I have used lore from other games in The Elder Scrolls universe, and I have used lore from both the books and the movies when it comes to Middle Earth. I have also used bits of fanon, like dwarfs having a One (like soulmates). This is a self-indulgent romp through the Hobbit story with an endgame Dragonborn tagging along and a female Bilba who’s really happy that she won’t have to sneak in to steal a stone from a sleeping dragon.

Another dimension? Another time? Another universe? Sure, there may be people looking for him, but he isn't going to play the part of a damsel in distress; he's going to figure out a way home."

Basically this is Tony surviving on an alien planet, slowly working out what's going on, and being kept company by some strangely intelligent animals.
(Eventually he finds out that the animals were Loki, who has been sent to rescue him by a worried Thor. But Loki doesn't show up in person till the end.)

Its an AU where instead of working on Ultron as a way to protect the world, Tony decides to work on faster than light travel, but something goes wrong on a test flight and he crashes on a planet with a strange field being emitted by signal towers. This field has the effect of erasing parts of Tony's memory. It would have the same effect on Loki but he is able to reduce the impact by shapeshifting into small animals and changing his shape regularly, although his magic is otherwise restricted.
